🎞️ Synopsis
In late-1990s Malaysia, widowed farmer and ritual healer Hong-Im struggles to protect her family and resist the seizure of local farmland. As colonial-era conflicts resurface, spirits, black magic, and political pressure begin to shape everyday life.

Mother Bhumi presents land as more than property or scenery. It is where memory, belief, labour, and survival meet, and where protecting a home may also mean protecting the knowledge and rituals rooted in the land.
