Connect by SEKAIA — Building Teams Beyond Borders
As businesses become increasingly global, the way we build teams is changing. International teams are no longer a “nice to have”—they are becoming essential for innovation, adaptability, and long-term growth. Yet building a truly international workplace requires more than diversity in name; it requires experience, intention, and an open culture.
Connect by SEKAIA is an in-person evening gathering for founders, leaders, and companies interested in global ways of working. The event brings together organizations with international outlooks to share real experiences around diversity, cross-cultural collaboration, and team culture.
SEKAIA works as a highly international team, with members from different countries and professional backgrounds. We’ll talk about how we work day to day, how communication and decision-making happen in a multicultural environment, and what we’ve learned along the way. The event is set up to encourage open conversations throughout the evening, not just during the sessions.
The event will also include a short session from another company with an international focus, offering a different perspective on building and working with global teams.
This is not a formal seminar or a recruitment-focused event. Connect by SEKAIA is designed as a relaxed yet thoughtful space—combining short talks with genuine networking over drinks and light food.

A session from a company with an international outlook, discussing global team culture, cross-cultural collaboration, and the value of international perspectives in today’s business environment.

市場や働き方がグローバルになる中で、チームのつくり方も少しずつ変わってきています。異なるバックグラウンドを持つ人と働くことで、新しい視点やアイデアが生まれる一方で、実際にはうまくいかないことや悩むことも多くあります。
Connect by SEKAIAは、国際的な働き方や多様なチームに関心のある経営者・リーダー向けの対面イベントです。グローバルな視点を持つ企業同士が集まり、実体験をもとに率直な話ができる場を目指しています。
SEKAIAは、国籍や文化、キャリアの異なるメンバーで構成された国際的なチームとして日々働いています。当日は、日常的にどのようにコミュニケーションを取り、意思決定をし、チームとして成長してきたのかを、飾らずにお話しします。イベントにはSEKAIAのチームメンバー全員が参加し、登壇後も自然に会話ができる時間を設けています。
また、国際的な視点を持つ企業によるゲストトークも予定しており、異なる立場からのリアルな経験を共有いただきます。
セミナーというよりは、ドリンクや軽食を楽しみながら、気軽に話せる場です。営業目的や採用目的のイベントではありません。
国際的なチームに興味がある方、これからの働き方について考えている方にとって、何かヒントを持ち帰っていただける時間になれば嬉しいです。
