The Launch event will take place in the Great Nave at The Monastery, Manchester
During the event, ‘Big Sister’ author Pamela Young will be in conversation with the Monastery’s CEO Elaine Griffiths, alongside a book reading. Pamela will share the secret story of ‘Big Sister’ and the role The Monastery has played in the creation and birth of this book over the past 20 years.
Then from 12:30pm - 1:30pm
Please join the author after the launch event in the Old Refectory Cafe at the Monastery for book signings and complimentary tea, coffee and cake.
Limited Edition hardback copies of 'Big Sister’ will be available for purchase on the day for a special price of £10 and a donation of £5 from each book purchased at the event will go to The Monastery Trust.
All are warmly invited and welcomed to the book launch.

About the Author
Pamela Young is a retired social worker. She grew up in Horwich, Lancashire and still lives there with her husband Simon in a house looking up to Rivington Pike.
Pamela has three granddaughters and loves to spend much of her time with family. She enjoys visiting sacred places and going on sacred pilgrimages. She meditates every morning with many of the messages in this book received during this daily practice over the past 20 years.
Pamela is well known within the Monastery community having supported the Monastery for many years as a volunteer.
She is also the author of Hope Street: The True Story of a Family with a Spiritual Gift and Bringing Death to Life: An Uplifting Exploration of Living, Dying, the Soul Journey and the Afterlife.
