Sweaty Hour: Summer Solstice Edition
WE'RE HERE TO DANCE. Join us for an extra sweaty dance sesh on the ~summer solstice~ and make the most of daylight on the longest day of the year!
No agenda: just you, good music, and friends. You pick a song and we curate the playlist together. Bring your hiphop, your 90s, your disco, your groove — your song is your admission ticket! We'll move 'til the sun goes down in a judgment-free zone at an open industrial-style studio theater in SF's Mission District.
Why? Because dance is powerful, dance is spiritual, and it's the basis for activism, change, and growth. Just as a dog instinctively shakes to move tension off its body, we humans need to shake too! Release and reset. Our movement is our call to action. Let's keep the fire going.

Who are we?
Sweaty Hour is a series where you simply show up and ... dance. Simple as that. We're two dance enthusiasts who recently moved to SF from NYC and wanted to recreate the open and vibrant dance scene we treasured. In the words of RuPaul, "There's not enough fun going on anymore. Where is the fun? Where is the disco?"
Sweaty Hour isn't a nightclub or a fitness class. No coordination or fancy outfits required, only good music, moves, and community. Rinse and sleep. All before 9pm.*
*We sometimes go out for brunch, pizza, or a beer after, but no pressure.
