About Event

As cities work to integrate nature-based solutions into their climate strategies, unlocking financing and strengthening public-private collaboration remain top challenges. This session will explore how global cities, investors, and corporations are aligning their efforts to scale investment in urban restoration through nature.

Highlighting strategies for bridging cities’ nature-related targets with private sector commitments, experts from public and private sectors, along with nonprofit and community leaders, will discuss intelligent financing mechanisms, strategies to improve investor confidence, and innovative practices and policies to accelerate urban nature investment.

This session also serves as a milestone for San Francisco’s Climate Action Plan update, reflecting on the past year’s progress and setting the stage for new urban nature ambitions.
