Alejandro Jodorowski’s The Holy Mountain
Welcome to the premiere screening of Cellar Door Cinema presenting you:
Alejandro Jodorowsky's 1973 masterwork is a film that resists description. Visually overwhelming, philosophically confrontational.
Inspired by mystical and surrealist traditions, produced in Mexico with unlikely backing, and suppressed for decades, this is not cinema for passive consumption. It was made to do something to you.
