Let's Talk #7: Should You Stay in a Relationship That’s “Good Enough”?
💬 When was the last time you asked yourself if "fine" was actually enough?
Picture it. You're with someone kind. They show up. Nothing's wrong. The relationship is stable. But every so often, usually late at night, a quiet thought shows up: Is this it? Is this what I want, or just what I have?
Most people don't sit with that. They tell themselves they're being ungrateful, or dramatic, or that everyone feels this way eventually. So the question just stays there. Unanswered.
It shows up in the relationships we hold onto the longest. The "good enough" ones. No big problems, but no real pull either. Comfortable, safe, predictable. And at some point you wonder - am I staying because this is right for me, or because leaving just feels harder?
So that's what we're getting into 👀 Should you stay in a relationship that's just good enough?
✨ What you'll experience:
Real exchange of opinions
Conversations that dig deeper
Moments where your own thinking gets exposed
🧠 What you'll get out of it:
If you engage (not just sit back), you leave with:
A clearer stance on settling vs. holding out
Awareness of why you stay in things
Perspectives you won't get from your current circle
✅ This event is for you if…
You've ever felt unsure about a relationship that looks "fine" on paper
You want to understand what you actually want
You're open to being challenged

💭 How do I prepare?
If you come without thinking about it first, you'll probably stay on the surface. Before the event, take a few minutes to think about these:
Do I think "good enough" is a reason to stay - or a reason to leave?
Where did my idea of a "good" relationship come from?
Have I ever stayed in something past its expiry date? Why?
Is there something about how I see this that I'm avoiding?

💬 What is Let's Talk?
"Let's Talk" is a monthly, in-person Creaba event for Tokyo residents. In this event, we will have the kinds of conversations most people avoid. Each session focuses on one big question that people don't always agree on. You'll share your thoughts, hear others, and start to understand your own thinking more clearly. The goal isn't to win, but to really understand what you think and why others see things differently.
