Join us for an evening of poetry, storytelling, and the joy of the in-between at the Ministry of Magic.
Read Writing Hood is a container of soulful expression and witnessing through the powerful art of word. We gather 11 micro performances in expressing what is held within, throughout.
“On Mirrors” is an invitation to reflect, distort, reframe, and reveal. It is about the seen and unseen, the light and the shadow, the self we hide and the self we perform. In this edition of Read Writing Hood, we explore how we see ourselves—through others, through myth, through memory, through time.
This experience is hosted and curated by Anna Mouchref, poet, performer, and creative alchemist who weaves language into portals of transformation. Through typewritten poetry, her signature creation of Dreamweaving, and immersive experiences, she guides people into deeper connection with their emotions, imagination, and truth. Her performances—like Read Writing Hood reclaim voice, rewrite myth, and make poetry a living, breathing ritual.
Admission is free, doors closed at 7:00pm.
If you would like to share a piece and are not in the program, please write me. We also create space for playful and spontaneous improvisation during the experience.
