🕠 Doors: 5:30 PM | 🎬 Screening: 6:00 PM
🎥 About the film
Through the lens of sport, Kuleana takes you on a cinematic journey into the plastic pollution crisis engulfing Hawai'i — and our oceans. If current trends continue, plastic in the ocean will double within 15 years, and by 2050 could outweigh all the fish in the sea. Set against a place of profound ecological and cultural significance, the film is a powerful call to action.
📣 Panel: What It Takes — Investors, Innovators & Advocates on Solving the Plastics Crisis
Following the screening, a curated panel of funders, builders, policy advocates, and storytellers will explore what it takes to move from awareness to systems change — spanning EPR, post-consumer solutions, and upstream innovation.
