Deep Tech Bootcamp - DFKI Edition - Information Session

Curious what it takes to turn breakthrough research into a real venture? Come to this info session for the Deep Tech Bootcamp, DFKI Edition: a selective two-month program run by southwestX together with DFKI, WHU, Collège des Ingénieurs, and partner institutions.

If you are a researcher, engineer, MBA student, or alumnus with an eye for big technology and bold ideas, this is for you. We'll show you how the 2026 cohort is being built, with research teams from DFKI and Inria paired with entrepreneurial business and engineering talent to explore whether cutting-edge science can become the foundation of a high-impact company.

In the session, we'll cover how the program works, who it is for, and what kind of commitment it asks from participants: who can apply, how teams are formed, what happens during the bootcamp, and what to expect from the three-day bootcamp in Saarbrücken and the online sessions around it. There will also be time for Q&A, so bring your questions, your curiosity, and your appetite for moving from lab to launch.
