The Disclosure Dilemma: Using Generative AI Responsibly

Generative AI is changing the way we learn, work, and create. But with new tools come new ethical challenges. Should you disclose when you’ve used AI to draft a report, complete an assignment, or brainstorm ideas? What happens if you don’t — and someone finds out?

Join us for a 1-hour interactive webinar exploring the ethics and best practices of AI disclosure in both professional and academic settings. We’ll cover:

  • The latest workplace and school policies on AI use

  • The ethical tension between productivity and transparency

  • Real-world consequences of failing to disclose AI use

  • Best practices for responsibly disclosing — or not disclosing — your use of AI

  • Practical examples of what disclosure looks like in action

Whether you’re a student, professional, or leader navigating AI adoption, this session will help you build trust, avoid risks, and use generative AI responsibly.

About your Host: Richard Velazquez spent 30 years leading tech, business, and innovation teams across Microsoft, Amazon, PepsiCo, P&G, and others and has been a guest lecturer at Cooper Union, Columbia University, and University of Washington. During his time at College Board, he launched the genAI strategy for the marketing organization, and contributed to the research into the ethical use of genAI among educators and students in high school and higher education, leading to the launch of GenAI Studios. He launched Radical Endeavors in 2022 to help small and medium businesses develop strategies for genAI to drive revenue and operational efficiencies. Now, as the CEO of Latinx MBA Association, his consulting practice at Radical Endeavors is primarily focused on pro-bono genAI strategy consulting for national and international non-profit organizations.
