Beyond the Hype: Find the Right AI Use Cases and Redesign Your Work Around Them
Most tech-enabled professionals do not need more vague AI advice or another list of tools. They need a practical way to determine where AI can create real value in their work—and where it cannot.
In this 90-minute hands-on workshop, attendees will examine a real workflow from their role, assess whether it is a good fit for AI, and redesign it around the strengths and limitations of current AI systems.
Best fit for: Professionals who already have some exposure to tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot and are ready to move beyond ad hoc prompting toward practical workflow redesign. Best suited to product managers, developers, operations leads, designers, and other technical professionals who want to identify meaningful AI use cases within their actual work.
Level: Intermediate.
Prerequisites: Basic familiarity with generative AI tools is helpful, but no coding experience is required.”
Participants will learn how to:
Identify tasks and workflows worth redesigning with AI
Distinguish useful AI applications from automation for its own sake
Map the context, constraints, decisions, and review points AI needs to work reliably
Decide what AI should handle, what should remain human-led, and where oversight belongs
Define a small, practical test rather than attempting a full transformation at once
Attendees will leave with one clearly scoped AI use case, a redesigned workflow, and a practical next step they can apply to their work.
Target Audience: Tech-enabled professionals. Best suited to product managers, developers, operations leads, designers, and other technical professionals who want to identify meaningful AI use cases within their actual work.
