Welcome to our Second Madrid Climate Happy Hour in May!
Do you work in the climate sector or related fields? Are you interested in understanding how the climate job landscape is changing: the opportunities that are emerging, the most valuable skills, or how policies are transforming our work?
If so, this event is for you.
On May 27, we come together for our second event for women working in or interested in the climate sector. This time we will be welcoming three speakers.
Marisol Santana Valencia has spent 25 years leading large-scale renewable energy and corporate transformation projects across Europe and the Americas, including restructurings spanning 70 countries. She now runs Solmere Studio, focused on bridging the gap between cleantech innovation and bankable industrial deployment, and co-leads a network of 180+ women investors backing female founders in tech.
Salome Balderrama is a globally recognized advisor on industrial decarbonization, with 15 years of experience working alongside the EU, World Bank, and Asian Development Bank, as well as Fortune 500s and governments across four continents. Her work spans net-zero strategy, climate finance, hydrogen, CCUS, and carbon markets, with a particular focus on hard-to-abate sectors. She is now launching trackAcademy, a global platform building energy transition capabilities at industrial scale.
Marina Navarro Altamirano is a Product Researcher at Clarity AI, where she applies quantitative modeling and climate-risk assessment to help investors understand the economic implications of the net-zero transition. Her work sits at the intersection of AI, financial data, and climate science - translating complex transition risks into tools that move capital.
Additionally, as last time, we will have enough time to exchange about the topics on our minds and to get to know each other, and network in a cheerful and intimate atmosphere.
The event will take place at Triple Ferraz (C/ Ferraz 56, 28008 Madrid). The price of the event is €12, which includes the venue, facilitation of the session, a couple of drinks, and snacks.
