Join Adam Manson of Snuneymuxw Nation in a Cedar Weaving Workshop. Learn the woven histories and traditions of X'pey, the Western Red Cedar, and the Snuneymuxw Nation as Adam guides participants in making cedar headbands.
More about Adam Manson: Cedar weaver Adam Manson is a Snuneymuxw First Nation member and knowledge keeper, dedicated to the revitalization of language and culture. As a gifted teacher mentored by his father, Adam inspires young generations of Hul'qumi'num language speakers through his work with Nanaimo Ladysmith Public Schools and Nanaimo Art Gallery. Adam is known for the way he brings joy and laughter to his lessons and for the humble and confident way he approaches the world.
