AI & Data Stewardship: How is Public Administration Changing?
The European AI Innovation Month, organised by the European Commission and the Irish Presidency of the Council, taking place between 14 October and 17 November 2026, showcases the development and deployment of AI in Europe. In close collaboration with the EU AI Skills Academy (AISHA), as part of the partner events, The Data Tank proposes an online webinar titled “AI & Data Stewardship: How is Public Administration Changing?” to discuss AI deployment and data stewardship skills in government by bringing together case studies from Germany and Europe more broadly. This online webinar will be guided by three central questions:
How is AI changing the way governments operate, and why is data stewardship important in this context?
Beyond the hype, what have we really learned about this breakthrough technology, and how are governments navigating its risks?
What should governments prioritize in light of AI and skills development?
