Alter Magazine #7 Launch

About Alter:

Alter Magazine is a monthly journal bringing to the world new literary writing on Science, Technology, and Progress, from South Asia.

With every story, we aim to alter our readers’ views and perceptions, bringing them contemporary geniuses, cutting-edge ideas, and pathbreaking discoveries. This is a living journal documenting the dreams and dilemmas shaping South Asia’s aspirations for progress.

About Sthala:

A cultural and community hub housed in a 120 year old, historic space that blends conservation, arts, literature, and sustainable living.

About the event:

A tiger has gone missing. The records don’t add up. Somewhere between pugmarks, camera-trap photographs and suspicious leads lies the truth. What happened to the tiger? You, the audience, have to figure it out.

For Alter Issue #7, we’re turning the launch into a live investigation. Follow the evidence, examine the clues, question the accounts, and work with your team to piece together what actually happened. You’ll also meet people working in tiger conservation and get a closer look at the methods used to track and count India’s tigers.

Join us on 31 October at 3 PM at Sthala, Bengaluru. We have only 50 seats.
