​Join us for a conversation on creative ideation with documentation in mind. We'll discuss how international artists build, defend, and narrate their own evidence—especially in relation to immigration, RFEs (Requests for Evidence), and the ongoing demand to record one’s achievements on paper.

4N Issue #4 features eleven creatives from eleven different cities across India, Taiwan, South Korea, and China–working in a wide range of disciplines. From land art and graphic design to film and textile art, we spotlight their artistic practice and process, with thoughtful interview questions from guest editor Annette An-Jen Liu throughout. Issue #4 includes a new section, Expert Advice, with highlights from our discussion with US Immigration lawyers Betty Huang and Tao Lin, plus new Creative Migrations interviews with filmmaker Jeremiah Overman and cultural director Carolina Alvarez-Mathies.
