A PhD’s Guide to Thinking in Systems: For High Schoolers
Know Where the World Is Moving, and What Comes After School
AI is changing the economy faster than most schools can teach it. Industries, jobs, and markets are shifting right now, and most students don't have a clear way to understand it or plan around it.
Buildemics is hosting a live session on AI and Economics to help students make sense of that shift and see how it connects to real choices they'll make about college, careers, and what comes next.
Speaker
Ryan Jayne, PhD. Dual PhD in Earth Science and Computational Mathematics from Michigan State University. Ryan works at the intersection of AI and economics and specializes in turning complex, data heavy ideas into something students can actually use. [ryan-jayne-phd-a1a738a7]
Who this is for
Students in grades 7 to 12 who want to understand where things are headed instead of figuring it out after the fact.
About Buildemics
Buildemics pairs students with PhD and master's mentors for one on one research projects. Each project ends with a real research paper, a mentor letter of recommendation, and a strengths report. This session is a chance to experience that mentorship before committing to a full project.
