Nomic x AECTech Week NYC

Every piece in a Poltrona Frau store started as a drawing and a specification. So did the buildings around it. That path from drawing to finished object is where AI agents are now starting to work alongside the people who design, engineer, and build.

On Thursday, November 12, during AECtech Week NYC, Nomic is hosting an evening at Poltrona Frau's Manhattan flagship store for architects, engineers, builders, and technologists in town for the Symposium.

AECtech Week runs November 9 to 15, from tech tours and workshops to the Symposium at Cornell Tech and the weekend hackathon. Thursday is the Symposium's first day, and this is where its conversations can keep going: how firms are operationalizing AI on live projects, what is working, and what is still hard to get right.

Poltrona Frau, founded in 1912, has a long history of working with leading architects and designers, and today also builds custom interiors for hotels, museums, and auditoriums. Nomic is the domain-specific AI platform for architecture, engineering, and construction, and our agents work alongside your team from design through construction, on drawings, specs, RFIs, and models, citing every finding back to its source. Both come down to getting the details right before anything is made, which makes the Poltrona Frau flagship store a fitting place to talk about where the industry is headed.

Food and drinks will be served, and guests are welcome to explore the space throughout the evening. Thank you to Poltrona Frau for welcoming us.
