Alex Hey, Co-Founder of Coursebox, will show you how to create an engaging online course from a single document.
The session follows the full workflow in order: uploading the document, choosing the course structure, setting the tone, the length and the content blocks on each page, generating the course, and editing the result.
Most of the decisions that shape the finished course are made before you generate it. Which pages become a quiz and which become a scenario. How much of your original structure is preserved. How your examples, your terminology and your figures carry across. And how to have Coursebox follow your document closely, or expand on it where you would rather it did.
The session is built around what Coursebox users upload in practice. Manuals and internal notes are the most common source by a wide margin, followed by slide decks, workbooks and academic textbooks, and most people work from a single file rather than several.
