The Stories of Founders Who Dared
Every company starts with someone willing to take the leap. These are honest, personal stories from technical experts who dared to build something of their own and what it really took.
About Gloucestershire Tech Week
Gloucestershire Tech Week runs from Monday 12th to Friday 16th October 2026. Powered by CyNam, the week brings together founders, innovators, leaders and learners to turn the county's tech strengths into solutions for society's biggest challenges.
Day 1 takes Heritage as its theme. Hosted at the Jet Age Museum, it celebrates the county's long history of innovation and asks what it can teach us about the challenges ahead. Explore the full programme at glostechweek.co.uk

Getting There
Venue: Jet Age Museum, Meteor Business Park, Cheltenham Road East, Gloucester
By Car
Jet Age Museum is located at Meteor Business Park, off Cheltenham Road East (the B4063), on the north side of Gloucestershire Airport. Look for the traffic lights between the large white Safran building and the Ontic building. Turn off the main road into Meteor Business Park at the lights and the Museum's blue gates will be on your right.
If using a Satnav, the postcode will not take you directly to Jet Age Museum, so please follow the directions above. If using the What3Words app, the square just in front of the main Jet Age Museum gates is shift.secretly.influence. You can also use the Waze app, which brings you direct to the museum.
By Bus
Take the 94 bus route from either Gloucester or Cheltenham, which runs along Cheltenham Road East (B4063) and passes the Meteor Business Park entrance in both directions. Both bus stops opposite the Safran building have a shelter and seating.
Buses run every 15 minutes on a Monday. The 'Dowty' bus stops are approximately 2 minutes walk from the museum.
