Breaking into Cyber Security

​As part of Gloucestershire Tech Week by CyNam, Origin8tive is hosting a breakfast panel for people who want to move into cyber security and aren't sure where to begin. Our panellists have all come into the industry from somewhere else.

​They’ll share their journeys to O8 including transitioning from a different industry, what it’s like working in cyber security and pathways into the industry. Origin8tive is growing and hiring for lots of roles, so Morgan will also share what she looks for in applications. You’ll also hear from O8’s CEO Brian Lewis who began his career as an apprentice.

​Doors open at 8:30 with coffee and pastries. The panel runs from 9:15, and afterwards there's time to ask your own questions, meet the Origin8tive team and talk to people who have already done what you're thinking about doing. You don't need a technical background, a degree or any prior experience. Just bring your questions.
