A Guide to Security, Resilience and Sovereignty
Three closely related ideas, too often conflated. Each carries a different weight in government, the boardroom and everyday life, and the distinctions matter more than they first appear. This opening session draws the lines between them and finds Gloucestershire's place on the map.
About Gloucestershire Tech Week
Gloucestershire Tech Week runs from Monday 12th to Friday 16th October 2026. Powered by CyNam, the week brings together founders, innovators, leaders and learners to turn the county's tech strengths into solutions for society's biggest challenges.
Day 2 takes Resilience & Sovereignty as its theme. Hosted at Hub8 MX in Cheltenham, it asks how we can stay ahead in an ever-evolving threat landscape and what it takes to build organisations, infrastructure and supply chains that can absorb a shock and keep moving.
