AI & Ethics

In the rush to adopt AI, some questions are too easily skipped. From the impact on people and jobs to the environmental cost, this session confronts the ethical considerations no organisation can afford to overlook, and explores what thoughtful adoption really looks like.

About Gloucestershire Tech Week

Gloucestershire Tech Week runs from Monday 12th to Friday 16th October 2026. Powered by CyNam, the week brings together founders, innovators, leaders and learners to turn the county's tech strengths into solutions for society's biggest challenges.

Day 4 takes [Artificial] Intelligence as its theme. Hosted at Patch in The Forum and sponsored by Zaizi, it asks whether we are ready for what comes next. The day moves past the potential of AI to the responsibilities, risks and realities of putting it to work. Explore the full programme at glostechweek.co.uk
