About Event

Some threats are new. Many are old tricks in new clothes. This session reads between the lines of the year's cyber incidents to reveal what is changing, what keeps recurring, and what it all signals for the year ahead.

About Gloucestershire Tech Week

Gloucestershire Tech Week runs from Monday 12th to Friday 16th October 2026. Powered by CyNam, the week brings together founders, innovators, leaders and learners to turn the county's tech strengths into solutions for society's biggest challenges.

Day 2 takes Resilience & Sovereignty as its theme. Hosted at Hub8 MX in Cheltenham, it asks how we can stay ahead in an ever-evolving threat landscape and what it takes to build organisations, infrastructure and supply chains that can absorb a shock and keep moving. There is no on-site parking at Hub8 MX, but several car parks are within easy reach:

  • Euro Car Parks Chester Walk, GL50 3JY, on the venue's doorstep

Blue Badge holders may find on-street parking opposite St Matthew's Church, GL50 3PL, a couple of minutes' walk from the venue.

The venue could hardly be better placed for bus travel. The High Street and Boots Corner stops are just around the corner from Chester Walk, a minute or two on foot. Stagecoach services calling there include the 94X, 99, 66, 10, D and E, with further stops on Clarence Street.

Royal Well Bus Station is also only a few minutes' walk away, served by a direct route between Gloucester and Cheltenham.

By Train

Cheltenham Spa is the nearest railway station, around 20 to 25 minutes' walk from the venue, with frequent buses running from the station into the town centre.
