Electrification in Action: A Practical Session for Developers
Build It Green’s Small Development Incubator (SDI) supports small-scale developers who are working to nurture people, places, and nature through regenerative residential development. The program advances the normalization of regenerative approaches by building an ecosystem that helps developers strengthen their skills, knowledge, and project outcomes.
As part of this work, SDI is hosting a series of technical presentations focused on practical regenerative design implementation. This first session introduces the mechanics and opportunities of building electrification in small residential projects.
Participants will hear from a panel of experts and gain practical insight into:
Opportunities and challenges in small residential electrification
Heat pump technology and where it fits in projects
Basics of incorporating electric appliances into residential development
Principles of efficient electrical load planning and panel design
This webinar is designed to build technical confidence and support informed decision-making for real projects. Attendees will leave with grounded knowledge they can apply to their work and a clearer understanding of how electrification can be integrated into small-scale residential development.
Join us to learn alongside a growing network of developers shaping the next generation of housing.
