Theophilio Pop-Up Shop Party at Gotham Chelsea
THEOPHILIO has always been rooted in community, culture, and self-expression.
Partnering with Gotham during Pride Month creates an opportunity to celebrate those values while bringing together fashion, identity, and connection in a meaningful way. We are excited to share this experience with both longtime supporters of the brand and new audiences through this special pop-up.
Founded in 2016 by Jamaican-born designer Edvin Thompson, THEOPHILIO is a Brooklyn-based fashion label that explores the intersection of Caribbean heritage and contemporary New York culture. Through bold storytelling, vibrant color, and thoughtful craftsmanship, the brand celebrates themes of identity, community, resilience, and self-expression while amplifying underrepresented voices within the fashion industry.
Named after Thompson's middle name, THEOPHILIO has emerged as one of the most influential voices in American fashion, earning the CFDA American Emerging Designer of the Year Award in 2021 and garnering recognition from Vogue, the CFDA, and leading global retailers. Rooted in personal narrative and cultural authenticity, the brand continues to challenge conventions while honoring the experiences of the Caribbean Diaspora.
In 2026, THEOPHILIO celebrates its 10th anniversary with its first-ever physical retail pop-up in New York City. Presented during Caribbean American Heritage Month, the week-long activation showcases the brand's latest collection, RIDDIM Spring/Summer 2026, alongside archival pieces, exclusive merchandise, community programming, and special events. The pop-up serves as a reflection of THEOPHILIO's decade-long journey and its continued commitment to creating spaces where fashion, culture, and community, intersect.
