WHAT IS A KIRTAN?
Kirtan is a way on the path of Bhakti Yoga, a collective call and response mantra coral singing.
Mantra means “mind protection”, singing together is a practice for improving your energy and mental health, the coral chanting adjusts the energy in the room, turning all the hearts on the same note, like a real magic.
Mantras will be in Sanskrit and English and projected on the wall for everyone to be able to sing.

THE ARTIST - HANU FROM GOA, INDIA
Hanuman (they/them), aka Hanu has been singing their whole life and playing guitar for 17 years, alongside ukulele and harmonium. Their music is rooted in presence, emotion, and heartfelt devotion.
Living in India since 2019, Hanu has spent years immersed in yogic and contemplative traditions.
They later received their spiritual name because of their deep connection to Hanuman chants and devotional singing. Hanuman symbolizes devotion, love, strength, and surrender, qualities that deeply inspire their music and the spaces they create.
Through kirtan, Hanu invites people into a shared experience of connection, openness, and collective singing from the heart.
Alongside music, Hanu is also a trauma-informed breathwork facilitator and trainer with a PhD in particle physics, bridging science, healing, spirituality, and embodied practice.
THE HOST - ELENA SOFIA
ÈS is a yogi-dancer & former lawyer. She finds joy in sharing her home with musicians and spiritual seekers on this magnificent corner of Lake Maggiore which she calls home, when she is not slow traveling next to the Ocean.
Casa Mágica is entitled to Manjushri & Saraswati. Dharma & Arts - in the shape of Music, Water & Visual Arts - are the drivers of ÈS’ life and her private space is a reflection of her cosmic, magic world.
