Let's Talk About Social Anxiety
I'm Chelsea. I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety at 28 years old. I always struggled with meaningful connection and often shut down in social situations.
What I learned through finding support is that I don't have to feel this way and I can't do it alone.
In this interactive gathering, we'll have the space to explore what social anxiety feels like and how we can build tools to overcome it together.
While healing is a continuous journey and I am far from done, I have spent the last 10 years building spaces and collecting the tools that I wish I had when I was younger. Through that process, I obtained my Masters in Mental Health Counseling and have used that training to grow the You Aren't Alone Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to facilitating & changing conversations around mental health for the safety and belonging of all.
The project started in Louisiana and I am excited to bring our programs to San Francisco and beyond.
I hope you'll join me for the first in our "Let's Talk About It" series on Sept. 29th. Location to be announced soon!
