Our event "Raising the Bar" is on the eve of Giving Tuesday, the biggest charitable day of the year. Join us for a night of connection as we gather at a queer- and women-owned restaurant in Dumbo called Superfine ... just 30 steps away from our office!
From a flower bar, to live music, to surprise giveaways, to speeches from Brave members and team, this is going to be a fun and memorable night. We can’t wait to celebrate with you, and thank you for supporting our life-changing work with immigrant and refugee women in New York City! 🦋
New to our work? 💫 The Brave House supports young immigrant and refugee women and gender-expansive youth, ages 16-24, in New York City, with a focus on survivors of gender-based violence. We offer free legal aid, mental health services, leadership development, mentorship, job and school advocacy, and community events, all within an environment of safety, joy, and sisterhood.
We have a suggested donation of $100 to support our cause. We welcome anyone interested in learning about what we do at the Brave House, and those open to connecting. 🌟
