​What is the BOF Catalyst Program?

​The BOF Catalyst Program is designed to support high-potential Black-led businesses through founder development, strategic mentorship, business growth support, and ecosystem connections.

​Delivered in collaboration with the Black Opportunity Fund (BOF), BFN, Pitch Better, and Nobellum. The program helps founders strengthen their businesses, improve investment readiness, access strategic networks, and position themselves for sustainable growth.

​Participants will engage with experienced entrepreneurs, advisors, investors, and ecosystem leaders through workshops, mentorship, peer learning, and specialized programming designed to accelerate business growth and unlock new opportunities.

​Cohort 1: July 6, 2026 – January 5, 2027

​Cohort 2: September 1, 2026 – February 28, 2027

​What to Expect

​Selected Cohort participants will receive:

• ​Founder development and business growth support

• ​Strategic mentorship and advisory guidance

• ​Access to ecosystem partners, industry leaders, and experienced entrepreneurs

• ​Investment readiness preparation and founder coaching

• ​A participant incentive of up to $4,000 upon successful completion of program milestones

• ​Strategic introductions and potential pathways to investment opportunities within the BOF ecosystem, including access to opportunities connected to the BOF $100M investment fund

• ​Access to a growing network of founders, investors, and ecosystem partners across Canada

​Founder Eligibility

​Priority will be given to founders who meet the BOF Catalyst Program criteria:

​• Black-led business

​• Innovation-focused company

​• Minimum $250,000 in annual revenue, grants, or funding raised

​• Based in Southern Ontario (priority market)
