About Event

It's gonna be a movie...

Imagine being able to fund and create a film with people you know. In less than a day.

Well, that's exactly what we're going to explore with FilmPardna.

Join us as we transform the ABUELOS site into a film set! We'll be using the Caribbean 'Pardna' tradition as a framework for pooling together ideas and resources to bring creative projects to life.

This day promises to be fun, creative and entertaining, while still diving deep into what collective ownership means to our community. Whether you're a seasoned maker or a beginner; prefer to be in front of the camera or behind it, everyone will find a role to play.

FilmPardna will bring everything you need to make a film, but feel free to bring your own gear if you like. We also welcome any visually interesting props you'd like to bring!
