Mala Making & 108 Sun Salutations
Join us on Friday, March 20th from 4-6pm for a very special evening of creativity, community and mindful movement as we celebrate the energy of the Spring Equinox. Spring is a time of renewal, balance and new beginnings.
Together in this workshop, we’ll explore the history and significance of malas and meditation. During the first hour and a half, you’ll design your very own Mala from a variety of provided beads, creating a personal tool to support your meditation and intention-setting practice.
You”ll also learn why malas traditionally have 108 Sun Salutations, each representing a mantra or meaningful intention.
Limited to 10 spots
Afterwards, we’ll move through a series of 108 Sun Salutations, using our malas as a focal point for meditation and reflection. This is a powerful moving meditation, and modifications and rest options will be offered throughout so you can move at a pace that feels supportive for your body.
Come move, create and connect!
