About Event

As the first of three spring events through Boston OiC's community partnership with Lamplighter Brewing, and to celebrate the launch of our custom brew (name unveiled soon ;), we promise) we're giving back to our local queer climate community!

With the blessing of Pattie Gonia herself, we will be raffling off 3 pairs of tickets to her April 22nd show and fundraising for Make Polluters Pay MA and BAGLY. Your $5 ticket will automatically gain you one entry into the raffle, and, for every additional $5 donation on the day of the event, you will get another entry!

Come hang out, try the new beer (NA options also available), and meet some fellow LGBTQ+ climate professionals and allies!

Out in Climate connects and elevates LGBTQ+ professionals advancing climate solutions. Since 2022, we've built a national community of 1,500+ leaders through 75+ events—catalyzing visibility, belonging, and collaboration.

Lamplighter Brewing is a Cambridge-based brewery with two taprooms and an in-house coffee shop. They are proud to have made the Crafted for All Commitment: a pledge to drive inclusive, equitable, and just behaviors in their organization to cultivate diversity and dismantle bias.

Pattie Gonia  is a critically acclaimed drag queen, environmentalist and advocate for inclusivity and diversity in the outdoors.

Make Polluters Pay MA is a campaign by Better Future Project, in partnership with 350 Massachusetts and Mass Power Forward, that will be filing legislation to create a climate change superfund and establish the climate change adaptation cost recovery program. It will require companies that have contributed significantly to the buildup of climate-warming greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere to bear a share of the costs of needed infrastructure investment, raising billions of dollars over 25 years from the 20 largest polluting companies.

For nearly 50 years, BAGLY(The Boston Alliance of LGBTQ+ Youth) has been a youth-led, adult-supported social support organization, committed to social justice and creating, sustaining, and advocating for programs, policies, and services for the LGBTQ+ youth community in Massachusetts.
