About Event

Welcome to the London edition of the "Health/Bio Coffee Club" event series! This time we have Sid, Yana and Ryan talking to us about quantum computing and their start up Ryoushi on top of our regular networking sessions.

Speakers:

Sid Iliyasu is an Imperial College London graduate specialising in robotics vision, embedded systems, and the integration of quantum computing with ML/DL. He is passionate about bridging the gap between intelligent software and physical hardware, focusing on cyber-physical systems and security. For Ryoushi, he aims to spearhead product implementation, ensuring quantum frameworks are optimised for impactful, real-world deployment.

Gyanateet Dutta (Yana) is an MSc CS & AI graduate from the University of Leeds working at the intersection of AI, high‑performance computing, and quantum systems. He specialises in hybrid quantum‑classical pipelines and accelerator‑based workflows, contributes reproducible open‑source tools to the AI and quantum community, and with Ryoushi aims to build practical hybrid AI + HPC + quantum workflows that plug into real scientific and healthcare pipelines.

Dat Chi Le (Ryan) is a researcher in quantum algorithms and quantum machine learning at the University of Sheffield. As a theoretical physicist, he's driven by the challenge of turning theoretical frameworks into quantum algorithms that solve real-world problems. At Ryoushi, he's applying this drive to translate cutting-edge research into practical, robust quantum software.

What to expect from this meetup:

  • 11:15am: registration & networking, drinks, brunch

  • 12pm-12:30pm: Fireside chat with speakers Sid, Yana and Ryan

  • 12:30pm onwards: Free & easy networking you know and love at our regular meet-ups.

Who should Attend:
Whether you're experienced or exploring the healthcare or life sciences ecosystem, this series provides valuable insights and practical tools by experts to help you excel in your career or as an entrepreneur.

About the event series:
Tech Brews started in Singapore as a casual meetup for healthcare and life sciences community. It's free and open to all, anyone can drop by, learn, and network. We are also very happy to dispense some pro-bono advice consulting based on my experience in the ecosystem.

This meetup is with our London Chapter

Organizers:
Techbrews a community founded by Terence Tan, an experienced tech/healthcare leader dedicated to empowering individuals across the Pacific in navigating the evolving landscape of healthcare and lifesciences. With a mission to support professionals in embracing various careers and entrepreneurship in this industry, Tech Brews offers a wealth of resources, including events, special roast sessions, and networking opportunities tailored to the unique needs of the trans-Pacific Region.

Hosts:
