Films for Foodies - Spotlight on Mongolia 🇲🇳 feat. "The Pasture" (Бэлчээр) (2022 Horror/Thriller) and Food from Huushuur House!

​Our World Cinema Supper Club returns once again to the Kino & Bar in der Königstadt, and this time we're headed to the Eurasian Steppes for a Mongolian cultural showcase that might just be our most unique Films for Foodies yet!

Just in time for Fall and Spooky Season, and for the first time ever, we're centering our community dinner-and-a-movie series around an independent horror/thriller (what, talking severed heads don't wet your appetite??) 😱😜

The Pasture is an anthology of three supernatural short stories from the Mongolian creative trio known as "John Sheepskin", and we're very excited to not only be dabbling in a new genre, but to also be giving well-deserved screentime to up-and-coming filmmakers 🎞️

But before we bury the lede any further, let's talk about the FOOD 🤤 because our friends from Huushuur House have cooked up a special FFF menu featuring traditional Mongolian classics Tsuivan, Buuz, and, of course, an assortment of the delicious fried pastries known as Huushuur 🥟
