AI In Preventive Healthcare - Shashank ND (Cent) and Prateek Sharma (AheadVC)

​Shashank ND co-founded Practo (one of India's largest digital health platforms) and has advised Indian government policy groups (including NITI Aayog) on building India’s healthtech and startup ecosystem.

​He is now building Cent, a one-year old Bengaluru-based startup backed by South Park Commons, that uses AI, imaging, biomarker and genetic testing to detect diseases before symptoms appear. Through their centres in Bangalore, NCR and Mumbai, Cent has screened over 10,000 customers so far with 30% of them finding major and critical health risks.

​Prateek Sharma is the Managing Partner at Ahead VC, an early-stage venture capital fund focusing on pre-seed and seed-stage startups in applied AI, deep tech, and enterprise software within the India–US corridor. With a background as an entrepreneur (co-founding Mygola, acquired by MakeMyTrip) and an active investor in high-growth technology companies, Prateek works closely with founders leveraging emerging technologies and AI to disrupt global markets.
