GraphRAG in Practice: Building Reliable GenAI Applications with Knowledge Graphs
Generative AI (GenAI) opens up tremendous opportunities… yet it still faces major challenges: hallucinations, lack of business context, limited explainability, and governance concerns.
What if you could overcome these limitations? In this hands-on workshop, discover how GraphRAG combines vector search, knowledge graphs, and graph data science techniques to enrich context, enhance semantic understanding, and ensure data remains up to date.
The result: more reliable, relevant, and personalized GenAI applications.
Agenda:
Following your feedback, we’re shifting the workshop’s focus to ontologies and memory management with graphs.
We’ll dive straight into more advanced concepts, so please complete the preparation below before the 28th to make the most of the session.
💻 Make sure you have both accounts ready:
A free GraphAcademy account, which you’ll need during the workshop.
A GitHub account to access GitHub Codespaces, our coding environment for the session. The free tier is sufficient for the workshop exercises.
📚 Come prepared with the basics of knowledge graphs and Cypher.
If you’re unfamiliar with these topics or need a refresher, please complete these two tutorials beforehand. Allow around 1 hour in total:
Neo4j Fundamentals — an introduction to Neo4j and knowledge graphs.
Cypher Fundamentals — the basics of querying graphs with Cypher.
🔎 Want to explore further? Neo4j also offers online courses on GraphRAG and generative AI. These are optional and are not required for the workshop.
