Fireside Chat with Sam Schillace, Deputy CTO of Microsoft

Tech Plus and Business+Tech are excited to welcome Sam Schillace, Deputy CTO of Microsoft, back to Michigan Ross for an evening fireside chat.

Sam has spent his career building products that millions of people use every day. He co-founded Writely, the startup that became Google Docs, and later led engineering on some of Google's most widely used consumer products. He also served as SVP of Engineering at Box before joining Microsoft, where he now works at the center of the company's AI strategy.

We will spend about 25 minutes talking with Sam about his path from startup founder to Microsoft leadership and about how AI is changing the way businesses build, work, and compete. After that, we'll open the floor for 30+ minutes of audience Q&A. Sam asked for plenty of time for questions, so come ready with yours!

This event is open to all University of Michigan students from every school and college, whether you're in Ross, Engineering, LSA, or anywhere else. You don't need a technical background. All you need is curiosity about where tech and business are headed.

Space in B1580 is limited, so please register if you plan to attend.
