Cowboy Bebop with Nickhil

​This is an RPG Fest event; we'll be playing an in-person tabletop roleplaying game with a small group. The game will be hosted in Western Queens. Come prepared to roleplay!

​Cowboy Bebop

​A motley crew of interplanetary bounty hunters are drifting through life and space in a second hand ship that left the dealership as discounted defective merchandise. For the rest of the afternoon, it’s just you yourselves and whatever scraps are left in the deep corners of your ship’s pantry to fill the empty void in your stomach and spirit. You’re trying yet again to find a bounty to bring in after failing for the last four weeks. At least things can’t get much worse.

This is a one-shot inspired by the “Toys in the Attic” episode of the anime Cowboy Bebop using their official TTRPG system. The session is intended to explore setting and story through roleplay and investigation. The Big Boss (GM) will facilitate a group of players as they develop their characters through a more intimate story, and we see what surprises pop out as a result.

The system is based around character and environment based attributes instead of rigid encounter systems and the encounters involve ticking down clocks with skill checks to achieve objectives and prevent disasters.
