Afrotech Berlin meetup

​You’re invited to an evening of career stories, connection, culture, and belonging, hosted by the Black Community at GetYourGuide.

​Instead of a traditional panel, we’re building a “Human Library”: a set of real people, ready for short conversations in small groups or 1:1. Choose a story or topic, talk, then rotate and meet someone new. Here are a few examples:

​“Why I changed careers at 31.”
“Why I failed a promotion?”
“How I navigated the stress of applying for a visa.”
“How I found my way into tech.”

​What you’ll leave with: a story that stays with you, advice you can use, and a connection worth following up on.

​And that’s not all. There will be Afro-inspired food, professional headshots, networking, career insights, and on-site recruitment support.

​Open to colleagues and allies, Black students from Berlin universities, and Black tech professionals working at Berlin tech companies. Everyone is welcome to come and support; this event is for the whole community.
