Busy Babes x Teva: peak district waterfall hike swim & paint
We're taking a small group of London creative babes out of the city for a full day in the peak district in the spirit of play: hiking, swimming & painting!
The hike

6.3km circular, 2–3 hours. A hidden gem in the Peak District where three counties — Derbyshire, Cheshire and Staffordshire — meet at a stunning waterfall and ancient packhorse bridge. The route takes you through open moorland and valley farmland before dropping down to the confluence of the River Dane and Black Brook, where natural plunge pools and cascading falls sit beneath a stone arch bridge. You'll hear it before you see it.
Some of the pools are perfect for a dip — shallow and deep sections, clear water, flat rocks to dry off on. Terrain is uneven and moorland paths can be muddy in places — good footwear essential. We'll be stopping here for our waterfall swim and picnic.
Along the walk, everyone gets a small watercolour easel set to paint postcards from the countryside.

The day
🕖 7:00am — Coach departs Kings Cross. If making your own way, the closest station is Buxton
🕚 11:00am — Meet in the Peak District
🌊 11:00am–3:00pm — Hike, cold water dip & picnic
🍺 3:00pm — Countryside pub
🚌 4:30pm — Drive back to London
🕘 9:00pm — Arrive Kings Cross
