Reading Trancestors: A Trans History Book Club (hybrid)

​September pick: Before Gender: Lost Stories from Trans History, 1850-1950 by Eli Erlick

​Trans people are in the midst of hard time. That’s nothing new. To find ways to survive &, despite everything, thrive in the new/old regime, we turn to our elders, who have been through it all before.

​Hosted monthly by Nonbinarian Alexander (he/him), meeting on the last Monday of the month on-site in-store at The Nonbinarian Bookstore & virtually on Zoom. Each month we will collectively suggest & choose our next book together.

​This month, we'll be reading Before Gender (available for purchase in-store, in print for direct-to-home shipping from Bookshop.org, as an e-book, or on audiobook from Libro.fm).

​Free. No need to have read in order to attend. Trancestors attendees receive an in-store discount.
