SNAKECHARMER IV: Vesper & Vine is a ritual of growth and transition—a two-hour, multi-genre ecstatic journey curated by Snakecharmer (Chris Taylor) at Pluto.
This month, we launch a new chapter in our series. While our first three events anchored into the deep catharsis of the void, a flavour that will return every other month as Velvet & Void, this session moves with the season.
As winter gives way to spring, Vesper & Vine calls upon the force of life itself. We tap into the energy of new growth and fresh roots, weaving the lessons of the dark into the ancient wisdom of the light.
Set to a lush, evolving soundscape of Afro-house, melodic deep house, sensual bass, and atmospheric downtempo, the journey is driven by live hybrid percussion and immersive performance.
We gather in the liminal space of the evening.
We root our presence into the communal floor.
We allow the rhythm to climb through us, from a steady, pulsing crawl to a wild, flowering peak.
