​Building Adaptation Skills for a Changing Climate Workshops & Tree Planting activities is funded by the City of Edmonton through the Community Adaptation Micro Grant.

​This is a community-focused climate adaptation initiative designed to increase awareness, strengthen practical adaptation skills and inspire meaningful environmental action among residents of Edmonton and the Greater Edmonton Metropolitan area.

​The initiative combines climate education with hands-on environmental stewardship by providing residents with the knowledge, tools, and experience needed to better understand climate risks and implement practical solutions that support community resilience.

​Workshop Series

​The workshop series will take place on:

• ​Friday, September 25, 2026

• ​Friday, October 30, 2026

​Each workshop will run from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM hosted at the Stanley A. Milner Library.

​The event's workshops and tree planting activities are free and open to the public.
