Thrift & Coffee Sustainable Bus Tour
Dear Community,
Become a Bus Babe for the day! Travel through Uptown and Northeast Minneapolis as we explore local thrift shops and enjoy coffee together. This is a two-part series: first, a bus tour and then a sewing event the week after. Thrift clothing during our tour together that could use a little extra love, then through mending & sewing, we'll gather next Saturday on March 7 at Sew It Together's studio to work on what was thrifted.
The sewing theme: patches! Be on the lookout for clothing that can be used as the "base" and any other clothing to use the material to create your own patch from it. We have a few inspiration pics, but your imagination is encouraged!
Come with us as we learn to travel through the cities more sustainably and celebrate the gift of moving together, thrifting & upcycling clothes, and local coffee.
We are cautious of the threats our communities are facing here in Minnesota, and we will have precautions in place to ensure the safety of our tour group.
The Tour Schedule:
10:15AM-10:30AM — Meet at Uptown Transit Station and get on E Line
11AM — Cafecito pop-up while checking out both Moth Oddities & Olio Vintage
12:07PM — Head back to Uptown on the E line
12:32PM — Arrive back at Uptown Transit Station
Optional — Walk to Old School Vintage (15 min walk) once we are back in Uptown
