About Event

About:

Albert Einstein observed, “We cannot solve our problems with the same level of consciousness that created them.” Our current ecological crises were born out of a Newtonian-Cartesian worldview that sees the Earth as inert, mechanistic, and separate from humanity. Ecopsychology suggests that resilience and regeneration will only come when we shift into a Gaian worldview — one that recognizes Earth as a living, intelligent system in which everything is interconnected and seeking harmony.

In this session, we’ll explore how to cultivate Gaian consciousness not just through new ways of thinking, but through new ways of feeling and perceiving. Together, we will engage in a guided visualization and embodied practice to experience the living intelligence of the Earth and rediscover our place within her fabric of inter-being.

Participants will leave with:

  • A deeper felt sense of embodied belonging with the Earth.

  • Practical practices for shifting perception from separation to interconnection.

  • Renewed hope and agency to act as cooperative participants in Gaia’s healing.

Format:

  • Talk on Ecopsychology and worldview shift

  • Guided visualization + meditation

  • Small group reflection + discussion

Facilitator:

This session is led by KT Cryer, a Transpersonal Ecopsychologist, MA and founder of The Soul-Based Life. She is on a mission to help people reconnect deeply with themselves, others, and the more than human world. Through somatics, meditation, and nature connection, KT Cryer helps people cultivate embodied belonging with the Earth, drawing on Ecopsychology, deep ecology, and contemplative practice to inspire hope, resilience, and regenerative action.
