Co-Hacking Guidelines
Our community at AI Tinkerers: Ottawa - Co-hacking space has been growing rapidly. We're thrilled to see many new faces and welcome back our returning members. This growth is fantastic, as we strive to create a safe and welcoming space for all our members. To ensure we maintain this environment, we are introducing some community guidelines and rules that all members are expected to follow:
Respect the space and its occupants: Please respect the space by keeping it clean, not causing any damage, and not touching anything that doesn't belong to us. Also, be considerate of the people working there by not disturbing them, not touching their belongings, and not using their equipment without permission.
An organizer must always be present in the space: To ensure proper care of the space, at least one organizer must be present at all times. Members are welcome to stay after our official hours as long as an organizer is present. You can find a list of all organizers in our Discord channel, and any new organizers will be introduced at our next monthly meetup!
Keep it respectful: Our co-hacking space is a friendly and casual environment, but we expect all members to be respectful and maintain a semi-professional demeanour. Behaviours that might be acceptable in bars, parks, gyms, etc., are not appropriate here. Each member represents AI Tinkerers, so let's all be our best selves and contribute to a positive and productive atmosphere for everyone.
