Arthouse Cinema (Lebanese Edition)
βEdition 6 is here. π September 8th. ποΈβ¨
βSome stories demand to be told β and some communities remind us why we gather. π€π½
βWe are not a blockbuster cinema. We are a community β coming together to question, to process, and to reflect through film. π¬π
ββ
βThis edition is hosted by Ibrahim β our Lebanese transplant in Lisboa. π±π§ Ibrahim has curated four Lebanese short films that speak directly to the themes his community lives with today. Intimate, urgent, and necessary.
βAs a space rooted in listening and collective care, we hold this screening with particular intention. All proceeds go directly to the Lebanese Red Cross. π΄ This is not just a night at the cinema β it is an act of solidarity. ποΈ
ββ
βThis is a safe space. 𧑠We are here to listen, to hold space for one another, and to process together. Hate speech and discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
ββ
βThe Evening:
βπΉ 19:30 β Doors open. Join us in the courtyard.
Rebecca's bar is Lebanese-inspired for this edition β cocktails, wine, beer, and alcohol-free options.
π¬ 20:30 β Screening begins.
π―οΈ After β An optional space to process, together.
ββ
βOnce sold out, a waiting list opens β if you're on it, come anyway, enjoy the bar, and if there are no-shows, the space is yours.
