Date - Saturday, October 10

Venue - Grillska huset, Stortorget, Stockholm

Entry for the ATTVARA events below are free.

19:15-20:00 ATTVARA panel: Författare som förebilder / Authors as role models

The conversation will feature Jenny Rogneby and Jalal Lalouni, who are successful Swedish authors and inspiring role models for new storytellers. The conversation will be moderated by Lola Akinmade Åkerström

20:00 ÖPPEN SCEN/OPEN MIC

After the conversation Authors as Role Models, we open the stage to anyone who would like to share their own words.

Read a poem, an excerpt from something you’re working on, or perform spoken word – anything goes, with no pressure and no expectations.

It’s a chance to try out your writing in front of an audience in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Perhaps you could be the role model someone in the audience needs.

Marième Ndiaye will host the evening’s open mic.

Everyone is welcome – no advance registration required. Just come prepared with something you’d like to share!

See you all on October 10!
